Watch Dr. Geoff attempt to apply mindfulness, relaxation, and other strategies to improve his poor mini-golf game. Despite his distinct lack of putting skills, working with a psychologist can help master some of the mental aspects to any sport. Quiet Eye describes an increase in focus noticed in elite level athletes when engaged in their sport. Their eye movements slow down and they focus exactly where needed to have a high level of accuracy at whatever movement or motion they are about to make. Mindfulness and relaxation skills can help you improve focus and reduce anxiety during your respective sport.
